Marketing Coordinator
Broadway San Jose, A Nederlander Presentation is seeking a part-time Marketing Coordinator with a strong interest in arts marketing to manage email communications and the Broadway San Jose app and assist with administrative tasks within the Marketing Department. This position will report to the Director of Marketing and work closely with the Marketing Manager and Community Engagement Manager.
This is an in-office position in Downtown San Jose. Work hours are Monday through Friday between 9 am to 3 pm, with a minimum of 20 hours a week and a maximum of 29 hours a week. A standard weekly schedule is preferred, such as 9 am to 1 pm for 5 days a week but there is flexibility to adjust hours as needed.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Manage eblast communications, from creating eblast content, sending drafts for approval, extracting email list from ticketing software and uploading the email list to the eblast platform, sending the eblast, to monitoring eblast performance.
- Manage the Broadway San Jose App, from creating push notifications for special offers and alerts, to executing app-exclusive giveaways and content, to increase user engagement.
- Create Facebook events for each performance and special events.
- Submit and manage event listings on various websites to promote shows and special events.
- Manage inventory of promotional merchandise for giveaways and special events, including ordering additional merchandise as needed.
- Prepare accounts payable invoices for all marketing expenses.
- Opportunity to assist with off-site special events on evenings and weekends, as availability allows.
- Additional duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- This is an entry-level position. No experience in digital content marketing required but professional experience in an arts/entertainment organization is preferred.
- Some understanding of graphic designs. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign is a plus.
- Must be fluent in Microsoft Office and Google Drive applications, including knowledge of formatting, sorting, and arithmetic formulas.
- Strong writing skills to create copy for eblasts, app and other public communications.
- Excellent time management skills to stay organized in a multi-task, fast-paced environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with Asana or other online task management tools
- Experience with email or app marketing
- Knowledge of html
- Ticketmaster Archtics ticketing experience

Group Sales Coordinator
Broadway San Jose, A Nederlander Presentation, is seeking a Group Sales Coordinator with the primary objective of being responsible for inbound sales via phone/email and processing payments. This position (in San Jose) will report directly to the Sales Manager and work together to discuss group sales goals and initiatives. This is an exciting time to join the Broadway San Jose team as we bring Broadway to the stage in San Jose! The ideal candidate is a motivated and enthusiastic individual with a mind toward meeting and exceeding goals. A passion for being part of a fast-paced, productive, inclusive, and diverse workforce is necessary.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Work closely with existing group leaders and actively expand the group sales market.
- Build strong customer relationships and provide exceptional customer service.
- Use the Archtics ticketing system to process Group Sales orders.
- Successfully interface with a small administrative team, the contracted box office, and house management staff.
- Additional duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 1 year of sales experience with industry knowledge.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be a proactive communicator with strong attention to detail and organization.
- Strong interpersonal skills, committed to working effectively with a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Ticketmaster/Archtics ticketing system is a plus.
- Availability for selected nights and weekends during show weeks is a plus.
